Nectarines are one of my favorite fruits, at the perfect ripeness they are sweet and juicy and I simply can’t have enough of them. These are some easy and fast breakfast ideas that will keep you full through the morning and go great with coffee, tea, or green juice. You can make it on regular toast or a bagel.

Nectarine Breakfast Toast or Bowl

A healthy, easy, and delicious breakfast with juicy nectarines, sweet honey (or palm syrup) and crunchy almonds.
Toast
- 1 slice Bread of Choice
- 1 tbsp low fat cream cheese (Almond or Peanut Butter for Vegan version)
- 1/2 nectarine, sliced
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
- 1/2 tbsp honey or palm syrup
Bowl
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbps apricot preserves
- 1/2 Nectarine, sliced
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
- 1/2 tbsp honey or palm syrup
Toast
Toast bread, spred cream cheese or nut butter, arrange nectarines on top, sprinkle with almonds and drizzle with honey or palm syrup. Serve and enjoy!
Bowl
In a small saucepan combine oats, water, milk, cinnamon and apricot preserves. Bring to boil, and reduce to simmer for 5 minutes or until all liquid is absorved.
Place oatmeal in bottom of bowl, arrange nectarines on top, sprinkle almonds and drizzle honey or palm syrup. Serve and enjoy!
