My name is Maria Eugenia Daniel, I am an Argentinian US immigrant with a passion for cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. Upon moving to the United States I was fascinated with the diversity of cultures and how that translates into the dining experience, even without travelling I could transport myself anywhere in the world with a warm plate of food. I love experimenting with new flavors, different cuisines, and varied cooking styles.
I am a wife, mom of two toddlers, lawyer, and entrepreneur. I am not a professionally trained chef or baker. So my recipes are 98% of the time simple, fast, and with few ingredients but packed with flavor. The best compliment I can get after a meal is someone asking for recipes, second servings, and, of course, empty plates.
This blog will be a journey inside my home: what and how I cook, how I plan my meals and grocery shop accordingly, how I organize my kitchen, pantry, and fridge, tips on entertaining, and the occasional post on how I do everything else around the house.
I would love to hear your comments, any recipes you want to see on the blog, and pictures! Don’t forget to tag #athomewitheugenia
